Tribeca is Manchester’s only New York Loft Style Bar is a 550 capacity city centre venue over two floors, open since 1999, situated on Sackville Street opposite Sackville Gardens on the edge of Manchester’s Gay Village.
Independently owned by award winning producer, Hazel O’Keefe, (Women in Culture and Art, Manchester City Council / Agent of Change Northern Power Women ) and powered by her company Dulcet Sounds Event Management (Comedy Business of The Year) and supported by various partners.
After 20 years of producing live events and projects across the UK which challenge inequalities, purchasing Tribeca was a natural direction and one that aims to make the projects financially stable. Times are even more difficult now but we are determined to keep the projects running.

Cirque Du So Gay was born at Tribeca by producer, FOH and tech manager of Tribeca, Dale Robbins. Several of the cast work at the bar too, so you will often see impromptu shows or rehearsals when you pop in for a drink. Even in its infancy is has grown beyond belief! Touring the UK with mainly sold outs shows. To be quite frank the show is to big for Tribeca now but we are a family here and we all help each other grow. For the the time being you can experience a more intimate show, let us reassure you though, the quality and professionalism isn’t compromised at all ! Club Zindagi is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender event playing the latest in Bollywood, Bhangra, Arabic, RnB, Hip Hop & Dance which runs on the first Friday of each month. Produced by Kez Ansar, who was also previously an owner of the venue and is alongside his team a wonderful supporter of the venue. Kez has been running this significant event for over 20 years. It’s such an important safe space for the Asian LGBT+ community which and welcomes everyone who enjoys the music and culture. It’s busy, loud and people dance big. The bigger the better. The Reggae Brunch runs once every two weeks on a Saturday from midday until 5pm and it’s the craziest brunch party you will find in Manchester. The venue opens at midday exactly, the que’s to get in are ok considering the event is always busy so arriving 5 or 10 mins before is fine. We even have umbrellas for you to loan while in the que if it is raining ! The free rum punch hour (12-1pm) is a Wray and Nephews cocktail so make sure you arrive on time to make the most. Strapped is a meet up for those who identify as Non-binary or gender non conforming or would like to explore that option. It runs on every 3rd Monday of the month from 8-10pm. The group will be a safe space to wind down and relax with like minded individuals. Kizomba Manchester was founded by Sean Wilson in July 2011 with the aim to provide more opportunities for people in the Manchester area to dance, learn to dance, discover and experience this beautiful, creative and fun dance on a regular basis. International Dj Sean Wilson currently provides top quality, fun, affordable weekly Kizomba classes for all abilities and world class weekly Kizomba club nights with every Tuesday. Booth hire is free, however we do ask for a small deposit to secure the area which is refunded, (our 150 capacity Brooklyn lounge requires a minimum spend) You can also pre-order selected discounted drinks from our party menu. We have areas available for hire from 1 to 550 guests, a 4am license
