Greater Manchester Fringe Shows

The Greater Manchester Fringe first took place in 2012 with 6 different venues and a handful of shows in each. Since then then Greater Manchester Fringe has grown each year with more performances, more ticket sales and more venues taking part including Tribeca Manchester.

The festival is a multi-venue open access arts festival providing support for all art forms to show their work, creating an arts community, encouraging first time participation in arts production and performances across Greater Manchester.

Ticket prices are low, sometimes FREE providing greater access to a non-traditional theatre-going audience.

About Fringe:

With a dull and dominant mainstream, a fringe should always be encouraged. A city that has been the birthplace of some of the greatest alternative poets, bands, comedians and painters should be encouraging the odd and the different to create, and it is with the Manchester Fringe, brilliantly so. Some of my favourite spaces to play have been the corners and attics found for the Manchester Fringe.

“There’s something for everyone…. The only difficulty will be choosing which one to go to.”
The Good Review

“One thing is for sure, there’s something for everyone next month in Manchester. Time to get off the sofa, and into the Fringe.”
The Fiction Stroker
